The organizers of ChacaLit are very excited to be able to invite up to 7 authors as their guests for a 2 week residency in a beautiful donated villa this November.
Before the places get snapped up, there is still time for you to help us to find authors of any genre and background to come and take the opportunity of uninterrupted writing time by the beach. Do you know someone who is a published writer? A poet? Journalist? Novelist?
Why not invite them to come and work on their craft here in Chacala? We hope they will enjoy our laid-back community and beautiful scenery. Plus they have the opportunity to give a short workshop or reading to local children and/or attend a book signing event.
We believe that writers deserve a special place in society and we would like to give back to these dedicated people by opening our arms to them and holding the space for them to work on their writing.
The dates are November 19th - December 3rd and can be flexible if need be. The book signing event will be held on December 2nd.
